Johnson turned his success in the sport of wrestling into a profession as a film actor, starring in films such as The Mummy Returns (2001) as well as Tooth Fairy (2010). Some of his more recent films were HBO Series Ballers. In addition Johnson was a prominent character in the Fast & Furious series and Jumanji. Finally, he voiced Maui in Disney movie Moana. Johnson was a football player in high school and earned a scholarship for The University of Miami, where Johnson did well. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor in General Studies (criminology and biology) within the same year.
