Luciana was born in Rome by her parents. Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian army officer and her maternal grandmother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's lovers. There's no evidence of her having any siblings. Luciana has graduated from her local high-school in 1955 and studied naval engineering in Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana as the sole female in her class, was the very first student to graduate. After two years she started modeling but that all changed when she was offered her first acting job when she was visitng her father's friend in Rome she had a very brief two-line character on the screen in Three Coins in the Fountain which was the place where it all started. Brett Halsey was the first man she married. He's an actor. Following the wedding, in 1960 they recorded a film named Return to the Peyton Palace. The couple had the birth of a son called Charles born on the 13th of June 1961. They divorced just a year after his birth and Luciana received custody. Luciana enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Tony Athony, who was a film actor and actor. Tony was influenced by her role on Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
