Hayley is an American performer and actress. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. Music, according to her, is first thing she loves. She started playing with it at age nine. At the age of 12, music became serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her debut album. The music hasn't budged around ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic origins. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic roots. To keep her heritage alive, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs based on the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer the year 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood week" she was put along with three female vocalists in a trio for remaining auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live show.
